I promise to do better – Wendy Shay apologises to Kufuor, YEA

Singer Wendy Shay has apologised for posting a picture with former president Kufour that has made headlines for all the wrong reasons.

In an Instagram post, the ‘Uber driver’ hitmaker rendered an unqualified apology to the former president for posting a picture that subjected him to public ridicule.

“I had no intention of bringing his good image into any public disrepute,” the singer explained.

Wendy Shay along with other celebrities had paid a courtesy call to the former president as ambassadors of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA).

However, she received backlash over her outfit after the picture went viral.

Many people criticised the singer for wearing a revealing outfit while paying a call on one of the most respected men in the country.
