I’m recording a song with Strongman which will be released soon – Medikal

AMG signee, Medikal has made a stunning revelation to the amazement of entertainment pundits and music enthusiasts.

According to Medikal in a phone-in interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz, he has a song with the Kumasi-based rapper and it will be released soon.

He revealed that the only thing delaying the release of the song is his verse which will be recorded in a few days time.

The former Sarkcess Music signee had a heated beef with rapper Medikal and it was amazing after Medikal claimed he saved rap music in Ghana four years ago.

Strongman who could not cope with the brag from Medikal entered the studio and murdered him setting social media on fire.

It all started when Strongman said he was the right musician to have been crowned Best Rapper of the Year during this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

According to him, he wasn’t surprised Medikal won the category because the VGMA board failed to nominate him despite his efforts in the year under review.

Medikal released ‘To Whom It May Concern’ on June 21, 2019, a rap song many easily deciphered as a Strongman diss after Strongman took on Medikal for claiming he saved rap in Ghana’s music industry.

Strongman released ‘Don’t Try’ song the next day, Saturday, June 22, 2019, and it didn’t require any music god to point fingers at Medikal as the lyrics gave him up.

The two released subsequent diss songs until they squashed their beef on Twitter and united at the ‘Back to Sowutuom’ concert held over the weekend.
