Let us get our priorities straight – Burna Boy

Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has called on countrymen to set their priorities right and focus on the real issues affecting the country.

The rapper took to Instagram to share his wish for the country as he stated that he wished generations after him would see progress in the country and be able to compare Nigeria to the western world.

He also touched on the abuse of rights people face in Nigeria every day stating that the leaders in the country do not care about the citizens.

Oluwa Burna also added his voice to the ongoing Yahoo boys debate. He admonished fellow Nigerians to channel their energy into fighting more critical issues instead of focusing on trivial issues on whether Yahoo Yahoo is good or not.

He wrote: “Please let us get our priorities straight. I want my children and grandchildren to see Nigeria the way we see the western world. We die every day at the hands of police.

“We are robbed of our rights as human beings daily. Our recycled leaders don’t give a fuck about us. We have real issues that we need to channel our energy to.

I’m begging you! Please, let us save ourselves.”
