NEW ORLEANS, LA – Lil Wayne reconnected with some familiar faces over the weekend as he hosted a McMain High School reunion in New Orleans, Louisiana.
A series of photos from the Class of 2000 reunion showed Weezy looking happier than ever as he reunited with some of his classmates and shared a few laughs with old friends throughout the night.

The Young Money icon was already famous as a high schooler as he released his debut album, Tha Block Is Hot, through Cash Money Records in 1999 when he was just 17 years old.

Wayne rocked a black adidas sweatshirt and enjoyed a night of bowling at Fulton Alley with his signature double cup in hand.

Lil Wayne’s high school reunion served as a warm-up for his Lil Weezyana Fest, which went down at Champions Square in New Orleans on Saturday night (October 29).

The festival featured performances from the likes of Rick Ross, Cam’ron and Quavo and Takeoff, as well as a headlining set from Weezy himself, who brought out Drake as a special guest.

“Can you please make some noise for this foreigner? Let’s show him a good time in America,” Wayne said before Drizzy hit the stage to a roar from the crowd.

The Young Money duo performed collaborations such as “The Motto” and “She Will,” before Drizzy went into his own catalog for “In My Feelings,” “God’s Plan,” “Nonstop, “Knife Talk” and plenty more.

However, the OVO hitmaker wasn’t too happy that Wayne didn’t ask him to sing the hook on his Carter III hit “Mrs. Officer,” which he apparently used to do during his early career.

“I wanna say one more fucking thing, because I was a little thrown off tonight,” Drake told the crowd as Wayne watched on. “‘Cause you know, back in the day before I was Drake, I was Aubrey off Degrassi, right?

“And I used to be standing side stage and when ‘Mrs. Officer’ came on, Lil Wayne used to call me on stage to sing Bobby part and he used to call me Jimmy Valentino. I feel like I should have sang ‘Mrs. Officer’ tonight, I’m just saying.”

Drake went on to sing the chorus of “Mrs. Officer” while encouraging fans in the crowd to sing along with him.

“It’s just like old times,” he commented before departing the stage. “New Orleans, I love you. Lil Wayne, thank you my brother. I don’t even know what else to say to you. I love you so much, man. I appreciate you.”
