This latest effort comes on the heels of the delivery of another blockbuster in “Ocean (Bootleg);” cementing the place of these Cape Town Disc Jockeys and Producers as the leaders of the Gqom movement.

Mr Thela who is widely regarded as Simpra has been one of the beatmakers pushing the rage of the genre with a world of deliveries too numerous to list, mention or document.

Yet, efforts such as “Soundless Melodies,” “Mlilo YiBhoza,” “Respect The Sound,” “Isgezo” readily comes to mind.

Mshayi on his part has already become a part of the culture with the “Rands Online Party” initiative and one that has now become one of the finest ventures out of CPT.
