Mtn Digital Music Conference – Kumasi

Mtn Ghana having done it’s first digital music conference in Accra, took the train to the Ashanti Regional capital;Kumasi. Oseikrom as passionately called by most people is known to have birth a lot of talented musicians from Okyeame Kwame, Flowking Stone, Strongman, Kwame Baah, Cabum and many more. So it was definitely a step in the right direction for the biggest telecommunication network in the country to consider the city interms of this workshop.

The workshop saw over 300 musicians, artist managers, bloggers and producers. Speakers for the day were Mr. Mensah Sarpong (Music producer), Michael Dze Boss (Artist Manager), Munya Chanetsa from South Africa and Hayford Benjamin Sedem who all educated musicians on the importance of getting their songs registered and distributed to online platforms even before they start sharing or giving it to DJs for airplay. The conference commenced at 10am in the morning and ended at 3pm.

The train heads to Tamale on the 25th for the same workshop.
