The wife of Ojo Arowosoge has debunked reports the veteran actor has died.
Contrary to reports Fadeyi Oloro, as he is affectionately called passed on, the wife who is addressed as Alhaja says her husband is very alive.
“Iro ni won pa o. Oloro o ku o,” she said in Yoruba, meaning “they are lying. Oloro is not dead.”
Manager of the veteran is also reported to have asked the public to disregard the death claims.
He is quoted as saying, “I was with him this evening. While leaving, he escorted me to the gate and went back into the house. He is much better. The news is fake, please.”
In March this year, a video clip surfaced online which captured the veteran sitting on a hospital bed looking very ill.
The actor who had been hospitalized at Ile Epo General Hospital in Lagos, according to reports at the time, could barely talk.
In the said video clip, Ojo Arowosoge struggled to speak while begging for financial assistance from viewers for treatment.
