Peter Okoye reacts to cheating allegations against him by Diamond Platnumz

Peter Okoye of defunct Psquare fame has furiously reacted to cheating allegations levelled against him by Tanzanian musician Diamond Platinumz.

Diamond had accused his ex-wife Zari Hassan of cheating on him several times with different people including her personal trainer and Peter Okoye.

Speaking in an interview on Tanzanian radio station Wasafi Fm, he said even though he was hurt by her actions, he still loved for her.

Responding to the accusations, Peter in an interview with Cool FM denied knowledge about any amorous relationship with the Tanzanian singer’s former wife.

In fact, the Nigerian star insisted on not commenting on the matter, describing it as a distraction as he is focused on promoting his new song and making good music for his fans at the moment.

He said: “To be honest with you, I do not know what they are talking about. I can never, and would never say anything. Please, I have a new single, and I do not want to get distracted. I do not want to comment on Diamond’s allegations.

“In fact, it is stupid. Once people discover that you are doing well, the devil just finds a way of rearing its ugly head. Nonetheless, we are friends with Diamond Platnumz; he is my guy.”

Meanwhile, Zari has cleared the air about these accusations calling Diamond a deadbeat dad who refused to take care of his children and has denied ever cheating on him while they were married.

She prayed that if indeed the rumours were true, her two children should die.

”I will sacrifice my kids soul if I ever cheated on you. Own your mistakes and use them to grow and change into a better man. You can still reform” she said.

She also accused him of trying to use her name as a hype mechanism because his music was no longer enough.
