Piers Morgan ‘bashes’ Kim Kardashian for honouring Karl Lagerfeld at MET Gala

Piers Morgan called out Kim Kardashian, Margot Robbie and others for honouring Karl Lagerfeld at MET Gala 2023.

Karl, a renowned name in the fashion world and former creative director of Chanel, was damned for being ‘fatphobic’ and ‘homophobic’ his entire life.

Piers, therefore, did not really admire the presence of stars at MET Gala 2023 which honoured the designer; the theme of the event was ‘Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty’.

The British host ranted off saying: “Hollywood loves nothing more than telling the rest of us how we should live and how we should think. It’s heavy on the preach, light on the practice.”

“What is now routinely, a nauseating annual romp of tone-deaf extravagance became a glistening exhibition of holly-woke hypocrisy,” Piers added.

The 58-year old journalist then bashed Kim for her double standards, highlighting how Karl had victim-blamed Kim back when she was robbed in Paris.

Piers also recalled that Karl had said of Kim, “You cannot display your wealth and then be surprised that some people want to share it with you,” and yet, she attended the gala in his honour

Besides Kim Kardashian, Piers Morgan also criticized Jared Leto and Emily Ratajkowski, reports Metro.
