Regina Daniels’ father reveals her real age

Regina Daniels’ father Jude Ojeogwo has revealed the real age of her daughter.

In an interview with Instagram blogger CutieJuls, when asked how old is his daughter who is getting married, the actress’ father disclosed she is 17 years.

While countries like Ghana, United States and the UK have minimum age of marriage, that is 18, Nigeria does not have, so marrying at age 17 is very much legal.

Ojeogwu also revealed in the interview that his daughter’s husband Ned Nwoko is 62 years and not 59 as widely reported in the media. According to him, he knows the billionaire politician personally as he grew up with him in the same compound in Lagos.

In a separate interview, Daniels’ father said he spoke to his daughter the morning before her traditional marriage to Nwoko and she told him that her marriage to Nwoko was her mother’s decision even though she loves him.
