Rema – Soundgasm

Nigerian afrobeat recording artiste and songwriter, Rema serves another melodious tune captioned; “Soundgasm”.
This latest record happens to be his first official release of the month. “Soundgasm” serves as a follow up to his previous track, “Peace Of Mind” featuring Virgil Bloh and Fela Kuti.

“Peace Of Mind” was relaased in March this year, it has garnered over 54,000 views on streaming platform, Audiomack.

“Soundgasm” is derived from the combination of two words which are ‘sound’ and ‘orgasm’. It’s literally sex translated into sound frequency.

Rema in 2019 joined Jonzing World Records, a subsidiary of Mavin Records. He gain prominence with the release of his project; “Iron Man”, a song which appeared on Barack Obama’s 2019 summer playlist.

Rema, real name Divine Ikubor is well known for his songs; Dumebi and Ginger. He was nominated for the best new act at the BET Awards in 2020.
