RICK ROSS CELEBRATES OFFICIAL CAR SHOW APPROVAL DESPITE POLICE CONCERNS

Rick Ross has been receiving tons of pushback on his forthcoming car show – but he just a major approval that now has him full steam ahead.

Taking to Instagram on Monday (May 22), Rozay showed off a screenshot of Fayette County signing off on the event just under two weeks until the big day.

“THE CAR SHOW & RODEO JUNE 3RD ROLLING!!!!,” he wrote with the photo. “@rickrosscarshow @theslipperysoap ‘EAT LIKE A KING HA.’”

The approval comes amid local police concern for “the potential impact” the show could have on the community.

“Rest assured, we will make every attempt to mitigate the impact on our local community,” a spokesperson for the department said in a statement to FOX 5. Our number one priority is the safety and well-being of South Fulton residents and businesses. We have formulated a strategic plan to manage the situation effectively.”

“Breaking news, the Rick Ross Car Show June 3 goes on. It must go on,” he claimed in a series of clips posted to Instagram following the news. “It’s a private event on private property with VIPs and you’re invited. Tickets still available online. It’s going to be a beautiful event. Shoutout to the beautiful city of Fayetteville.”

Ross has also taken the time to assure his neighbors that the car show will be good for the community, noting how they could make some extra money by charging attendees for parking.

“You know what we did to the financial literacy of the community — not just Fayette, not just Fulton — it goes around,” he said in an Instagram post on Thursday (May 18). “These Airbnbs going through the roof. It’s gon’ be more gas sold on June 3 than y’all sold in six months. Y’all gotta think of the financial literacy that Rozay bringing to the table.

“It ain’t too late to print your signs. The closer you are to the Promise Land, charge ’em $100 a parking spot. The further you are, charge ’em $50. Come on y’all. Y’all wanna make some money or not? We got car washes coming out here, we feeding a lot of people.”
