Sarkodie Is A True Definition Of ‘Hypocrisy’

Musicians discuss politics because they have identities beyond being entertainers.

When we ask artists to keep their work free from politics, not only do we reduce their identities to their profession, but we also reveal a gross lack of awareness about how politics and arts have been intertwined throughout history.

Ghana’s most decorated artist Sarkodie loves to talk about the problems in the country.

In 2014 he took a swipe at the then President of the country, John Dramani Mahama over the state of the economy in his songs.

Sarkodie released songs like inflation, masses, Dumsor etc to condemn Mahama’s Government.

Sarkodie told Ghanaians he was speaking for Ghanaians, not any political party .However, we are facing a lot of problems(Killings, kidnappings, Etc) in 2019.

Is Sarkodie in the country? Why is he mute? Is Sarkodie a sympathizer of NPP???

Is Sarkodie a hypocrite or he is just acting unconcerned; no wonder Shatta Wale tags him as such.
