Growing up in most Ghanaian communities, youngsters were advised by their parents and grandparents to take their books with all seriousness for classroom education or otherwise schooling is the key to success, financially.
But the reality after classroom education or otherwise schooling is entirely different as graduates have to put aside all the classless HND’s and degrees’ and hustle like school dropouts for daily bread!
So, it’s no surprise that actress Xandy Kamel has voiced that schooling doesn’t make people rich anymore, it’s all about who you know! To her, the reality today has been the reason why she has not thought of continuing her education.
Speaking to Fante Quoo, one of the presenters behind Inside Prime Page TV, she’s living a good life although she has not acquired the best of credentials – degree. This has been made possible kind courtesy the “big people” she knows.
