Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco Host Pajama-Themed Birthday Party for ‘Grateful’ BFF Nicola Peltz Beckham

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are excellent party hosts!

The couple threw a surprise pajama-themed birthday party for Gomez’s BFF Nicola Peltz Beckham — who turned 29 on Jan. 9 — in photos posted on Saturday, as Gomez hosted guests at what appeared to be her home, while Blanco provided the tasty party food.

“I’m so grateful for all the beautiful and kind people in my life, all my best friends surprised me for my birthday with a pj night and we played games (my heaven!),” Nicola wrote as she shared a carousel post of the party shenanigans on Instagram.

“Thank you all so much for making me feel so loved,” she continued. “I love you all so much and thank you Benny for making the best food everrrr and you and Sel for hosting 😭😭🍔🥂.”

In one photo, Gomez, 31, and Nicola embraced each other at the party as they were joined by Gomez’s younger sister Gracie Elliott Teefy, 10. The trio wore matching black pajamas with white trim and were seen again in another snap with a group of friends in the same pajamas during the celebrations.

Nicola posed with Gracie for another cute shot outside as they held hands while standing in front of some pink balloons in front of what appeared to be Gomez’s house. The pair also took a joint selfie together in the matching looks.

Nicola’s large birthday cake was revealed to have an enlarged pink photo of her face displayed on top with light pink iced roses along the sides and a plaque that read, ‘Happy Birthday Nicola.’

A final group photo showed Gomez and Nicola striking a pose in their pajamas with party guests, which included Nicola’s husband Brooklyn Beckham and Blanco, 35, who sat to the side flashing a peace sign.

In an Instagram Story video shared by Nicola from the party, guests sang “Happy Birthday” to her while gathered in the kitchen as Gomez lit her birthday cake.

“I love you guys so much 😭❤️🎀,” Nicola captioned the clip. “Omg I’m so awkward 😭😂,” she jokingly added.

Gomez’s hosting night with boyfriend Blanco comes after the pair — whose romance was confirmed in December 2023 — made their couple debut at the 2024 Golden Globes last Sunday.

On Jan.5 a source told PEOPLE that Gomez is “super happy and present” in her new relationship and “she seems to be really feeling herself at the moment.”

“Maybe that’s Benny or maybe that’s just where she’s at personally and professionally,” the insider added. “Everyone is so happy that she’s happy.”
