Selena Gomez has finally revealed exactly what she was gossiping about with Taylor Swift at the Golden Globes, and it’s safe to say fans were not expecting it

The juicy gossip between Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez at the Golden Globe Awards has finally been revealed.

In a now-viral video, Selena was seen whispering something to her close friends Taylor and Keleigh Teller during the star-studded event. Taylor looked shocked and covered her face with her hand.

Fans noticed that Selena said “no” during their quick chat, leading many to believe they were talking about Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner. Rumors swirled that Selena wanted a picture with her former co-star, but Kylie said no.

Selena has now cleared up the rumors by commenting on an Instagram post by E! News. The post asked: “Was Selena Gomez Gossiping About Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet at the Golden Globes? Here’s the Truth.”

“Noooooo I told Taylor about two of my friends who hooked up. Not that that’s [anyone’s] business,” she said. It’s since been reported that the pair Selena was talking about was her Only Murders in the Building co-stars Meryl Streep and Martin Short.

Speculation has been mounting that these Hollywood icons started a romance after getting to know each other while filming their comedy show. Their recent outing in Santa Monica added fuel to the rumor mill. Looking very happy, both Meryl and Martin were spotted leaving restaurant Giorgio Baldi with a group of pals.

However, Martin quashed rumors of a romance with Meryl last month. Chatting to Bill Maher on his Club Random podcast, he clarified: “We’re not a couple. We are just very close friends.” The romance speculation began in January after Meryl and Martin seemed chummy at the Golden Globes. Reports of a possible relationship between them come only a few months after Meryl broke up with her husband Don Gummer.

News broke in October that the Oscar-winning actress had quietly parted ways with her sculptor husband six years ago. Meryl’s representative confirmed that, while they’re still legally married, they’ve decided to live separate lives. “Don Gummer and Meryl Streep have been separated for more than 6 years, and while they will always care for each other, they have chosen lives apart,” the statement read.
