Selena Gomez Mastered the Winter Whites Trend in a Lace Corset and a Monochromatic Pantsuit

While an all-white outfit is often associated with being worn in the height of summer, the monochromatic palette can also make a polished statement in cold weather, too. Just look at Selena Gomez, who stepped out for the launch of Rare Beauty’s Find Comfort Body collection in Los Angeles on Wednesday, dressed in an angelic white look.
At the event, the singer mastered the winter whites trend while also delivering a lesson in sophisticated layering at the same time. On top, a white corset with lace detailing on the neckline peeked out from beneath a creamy double-breasted blazer that featured a sparkly floral brooch pinned off to the side. Selena teamed her jacket with matching wide-leg trousers before throwing on an elegant white coat draped over her shoulders.

As a final step in the sartorial process, she accessorized with crystal-trimmed open-toe pumps, a diamond tennis necklace, and triangle-shaped earrings.

Her dark brunette bob was worn down in beach waves with a middle part, and she rounded out her glam with a soft pink lip, rosy cheeks, and a glowing complexion.

Selena’s outing came just hours after it was announced that she would be playing Linda Ronstadt in an upcoming biopic about the Grammy-winning musician. Variety first reported the news on Wednesday, revealing that the film is currently in pre-production and producers include Ronstadt’s manager, John Boylan, and James Keach, who worked on the 2019 documentary Linda Ronstadt: The Sound of My Voice.
