Rumors have been circulating surrounding Taylor Swift’s and Travis Kelce’s relationship, and according to a new source, the pop icon is “mortified” by those claims.

Travis and Taylor have been publicly dating since September 2023, but they were secretly dating for months prior. When the two first went public, rumors began circulating that the relationship was just for self-promotion as Taylor was gearing up for her International Eras Tour.

Those rumors eventually died down as Taylor continued to show up and support Travis at his Chiefs games, and the two were spotted on several dates outside the NFL field.

Now, more rumors are beginning to circulate, this time surrounding Travis Kelce and how he is supposedly using Taylor for fame and self-promotion.

These claims come after a recent New York Times piece fueled the rumors as it stated that Travis’ managers’ plan to make him “as famous as” other stars, including Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.

According to an inside source, who spoke with Life & Style Magazine, “Taylor was mortified” by the recent speculation of Travis Kelce using her for fame.

“She doesn’t believe Travis is dating her to get more famous, but she hates that it’s given people ammunition to use against them,” the source claimed of Taylor Swift. “Travis hasn’t lost any sleep over it, but it was another stressful situation for their relationship, which really hasn’t been tested until now.”

Another insider backed this, stating that Travis Kelce “truly fell in love with [Taylor].”

“He’s not using her for fame,” the insider recently stated, adding, “But there’s no denying the timing was perfect. Their relationship pushed his plan into overdrive.”

The source went on to explain that “they’re so good for each other” because “they’re both super competitive and ambitious.”

“They’re the new Hollywood power couple!” the insider added.

Taylor Swift Addresses Her Relationship With Travis Kelce

Taylor and Travis’s relationship has been in the spotlight ever since going public in September when the ‘Cruel Summer’ singer showed up at a Chiefs game to cheer on Travis, even sitting with his mom, Donna, in a private VIP suite.

The pop icon recently opened up about her relationship with the NFL star to TIME Magazine, stating, “When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there, and we don’t care.”

“The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other,” the ‘Red’ singer added.

Taylor has been showing up to Chiefs games to cheer on Travis and the rest of the team, and once the NFL season is over, it is expected that Travis will begin traveling to support Taylor in her career, especially since her International leg of her Eras Tour picks back up next month.

“If Travis’ team goes to the Super Bowl then no doubt it will be Taylor making the trip to support him, even if it means flying across the world to be there,” the source told Life & Style Magazine. “But once his season is done their agreement is that he’ll start putting in the miles.”
