‘Taylor Swift should move on,’ says source close to Kim Kardashian on their long-standing feud

The long-running feud between Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift cane to the fore again back in 2020. The reality TV star came out in support of her husband Kanye West over the leaked video of a phone call in which he discussed lyrics for his song ‘Famous’ with Swift.

Tensions had arisen following the release of the song in 2016 when the singer hit out at the rapper for the ‘misogynistic’ lyrics. The singer had said she never approved the lyrics of ‘Famous.’

Kim Kardashian later took to Snapchat to share clips showing West on a phone call with Swift in which the singer can be overheard thanking the rapper for calling her to discuss the song.

Swift reignited the feud in her viral album Tortured Poets Department. A source told People about Kim’s response, “She’s over it and thinks Taylor should move on.” Kim “doesn’t get why (Taylor) keeps harping on it,” the source said. “It’s been years.” The lyrics of the album made fans sit up and take notice of how it has a sly mention of Kim.
