Taylor Swift will likely respond to all questions regarding split from ex beau Joe Alwyn in her new album

Taylor Swift’s upcoming studio album The Tortured Poets Department is all set to release on April 19, 2024, in a nod to her ‘bitter-sweet’ relationship with ex Joe Alwyn.

The Antihero hitmaker, who is currently dating Travis Kelce, has been making headlines for her upcoming album, which will most likely address her now-defuncted relationship with the British actor.

Swift is quite known for keeping her love interests discreet, however, anybody she dates, becomes “fodder to her music,” according to InTouch Weekly.

Fan theories, regarding upcoming tracks from the album, including So Long, London and The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived, have been doing rounds on social media, hinting at Taylor’s ‘traumatic’ experience during the relationship.

An AI-generated cover of So Long, London revolved around the phrase ‘home is where the heart is,’ which Swift previously sang in her song, London Boy from her album, Lover.

In the video posted on YouTube, the lyrics referred to the singer’s alleged painful experience in the city, adding: ‘But you London, gave me pain.’

As the song continued, it included how she ‘lost herself in the shadows’ of the ‘tower,’ bidding “farewell” to the city, noting that ‘you dragged me down the streets.’

The Love Story singer and Alwyn were reportedly planning to buy a £8.3 million worth seven-bedroom home in London, i.e., the English actor’s hometown.

The duo dated for six years before calling it quits in spring last year, only weeks shy of beginning of Taylor’s Eras Tour.
