Timothée Chalamet Speaks Out About Selena Gomez Friendship Amid Kylie Jenner Snub Rumors

As rumors continue to spread about something that might’ve happened between Selena Gomez, Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner at the Golden Globes on Sunday, Jan. 7, Chalamet attempted to shut down the chatter as he commented on the situation.
The Wonka actor was spotted on the street in Los Angeles by a TMZ reporter who attempted to ask him all about the supposed drama as he walked around with a friend.
While Chalamet initially avoided the questions, the reporter asked him to “shut down” the “ridiculous” rumors. They asked if Chalamet and Gomez, who starred together in the 2019 film A Rainy Day in New York, were “cool,” to which Chalamet succinctly said, “Of course.”
The reporter then questioned if Gomez and Jenner “have any beef,” and the 28-year-old simply said “No.”
The whole situation involving the three celebrities started at the Golden Globes when Gomez was spotted talking to pals Taylor Swift and Keleigh Sperry about something that seemed to shock them.

Based on fans’ lip-reading and close listening from different angles, people thought that Gomez was talking about asking for a photo from Chalamet that Jenner didn’t allow. In one clip, Sperry can possibly be heard questioning, “With Timothée,” before Gomez nods.
After the Hollywood event, Gomez’s rep told People, “She was absolutely not referencing anything about Timothée or Kylie,” before adding that she “never even saw or spoke to them.” With Chalamet now also denying the rumors of drama, hopefully, fans will settle down about a possible feud.
As Chalamet and Jenner made their awards show debut as a couple, Gomez went solo for the Golden Globes red carpet, stunning everyone in a bright red dress. But it seems like her new boyfriend, Benny Blanco, wasn’t too far away, as Gomez later shared photos of the two embracing throughout the night.
