Travis Kelce had to stop himself when hot comment about Taylor Swift was too much for Swifties to handle

Travis hinted at a spicy moment in his relationship on the New Heights Show.

Travis and Jason Kelce know that the audience of their New Heights Podcast includes a huge number of Taylor Swift fans, and therefore, every comment Travis Kelce makes is under the microscope. Nonetheless, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end appeared ready to risk it all when he made a comment about his relationship with Taylor Swift that was so provocative Jason begged him to stop.

In typical New Heights fashion, the suggestive comment arose from a conversation about a completely different topic. Their chat flowed from zoo animals to Victor Wembanyama, and then all of a sudden Travis said something he might regret. Here’s how it went:

Jason: “(Wembanyama) has giraffe tendencies.”

Travis: “You can’t tell me that dude wasn’t made in a lab over there in France.”

Jason: “It’s a proprietary thing probably.”

Travis: “100%. You got lab grown diamonds, that’s a lab grown f*****g NBA player… Can’t wait until I f*****g make one.”

Jason: “Don’t do this. Do not give these conspiracy theorists anything else to latch onto please.”

The younger brother’s comment about “making one” seemed to refer to a future NBA player. In other words, Travis Kelce can’t wait to put a baby in Taylor Swift.

The other possible read of his comment is that he wanted to make his own diamond, possibly for an engagement ring, which would also signify a huge step in his relationship with the 14-time Grammy winning artist.

No matter which interpretation was correct, it sent Taylor Swift fans into an online tizzy, posting a flurry of gifs and comments when his sultry quote hit the timeline.

“He sure did let that slip,” one Swiftie replied to the clip on Twitter/X.

“#HeSaidWhatHeSaid,” wrote another.

While it points to the fact that fans are eager to see the next steps in Swift and Kelce’s relationship, perhaps the bigger takeaway is that Travis is feeling the anticipation himself. There are a couple more months of downtime before Travis begins his next season with the Chiefs and Swift starts the next stage of her Eras Tour, so maybe we’ll find out which thing Travis was excited to make before long.
