At this point, we’ve all heard Travis Scott’s hit record “Sicko Mode” a million times. It follows us everywhere we go. It’s on at the club, on the radio, on the headphones of the subway commuter standing next to you. “Sicko Mode” is everywhere. While some of us may have gotten annoyed of the Travis Scott, Drake and Swae Lee trio, others still go crazy every time it comes on. The song’s structure is incredibly unique, switching beats and flows regularly. It has achieved a new level of commercial success this week too, sitting in the Billboard Hot 100 chart’s Top 10 for 31 weeks.

According to XXL, Travis Scott’s “Sicko Mode” is spending its thirty-first week inside of Billboard’s Top 10, marking the first-ever time a hip-hop song has stayed in the Top 10 for that long. Chart Data adds that the only other artists to achieve this level of success with a single are Maroon 5 (with Cardi B), Ed Sheeran, Leeann Rimes, The Chainsmokers, and Mark Ronson (with Bruno Mars.) It’s quite possible that Travis Scott and Drake stick around for the most weeks in history in the Top 10. To be completely honest, we’re a little surprised that Drake hasn’t already reached that point.

Do you think “Sicko Mode” will last three more weeks to take the overall crown? La Flame is already on the verge of being ousted, sitting at No. 10 this week.
