TRAVIS SCOTT GIVES ASPIRING RAPPER STAMP OF APPROVAL AFTER HE CAMPS OUTSIDE HIS STUDIO

Travis Scott has lent his stamp of approval to an aspiring rapper who played his new single for La Flame during a stop in New York.
Earlier this week, emerging NYC-based artist JaeyBxrd waited all night for La Flame to leave the studio he was working at and pounced on the opportunity to play his new “Devil’s Kiss” single through a speaker while Scott entered a black SUV.

“Ay Travis, give me five seconds to play you my new song,” Bxrd said while running over with the speaker against the security guard’s wishes.

Initially, it appeared like Scott was going to brush them off without noticing, but he ended up lowering his window while driving away and giving the rapper an inspiring thumbs up, which had JaeyBxrd and the cameraman ecstatic.

Fans took note and commended Jaey on his hustler mentality. “Bro that thumb out the window had me hype asf,” one person wrote in his IG comments, while another said: “Your hustle will get you far, J Cole did the very same thing when he was coming up. You just earned a new fan.”

Meanwhile, Travis Scott — who is set to drop his Utopia album on Friday (July 28) — was in the building for the final Madison Square Garden show of Drake’s It’s All A Blur Tour on Wednesday night (July 26), which sparked rumors that Drizzy might be making an appearance on his eagerly anticipated album.

After his concert, Drake made a trip to the famed Starlets strip club in Queens, New York and the jiggle joint’s Instagram account posted a photo early Thursday (July 27) of La Flame’s secretive Utopia briefcase.

“@champagnepapi you left something here at #Starlets,” the strip club captioned the post, fueling speculation of another collaboration from the “SICKO MODE” duo on the horizon.

While he won’t be performing at the pyramids in Egypt this week, Scott is unleashing his Circus Maximus film in select theaters across the U.S. on Thursday night to accompany his new LP.
