Just hours ago, Wiz & Curren$y were on Twitter teasing us that something new was dropping this Friday, and it turns out its their long awaited joint project 2009! On Tuesday night, Spitta took to his IG to share the tracklist to the project, while also revealing that the project will be dropping this Friday, February 8th. “Dropping the album Friday. #2009 #taylorgang #jetliferecordings #gangliferz #tayloredjets,” he left as his caption.
The project, which follows up their How Fly tape hitting streaming services last week, will contain 14 tracks in total and feature guest appearances from Ty Dolla $ign & Problem, the latter of which who appears on the song “Getting Loose.”
In support of the project, Wiz & Spitta will also be hitting the road for the similarly-titled “2009” tour, which kicks off this Friday in Santa Ana, California. You can peep the rest of the tour dates right here if interested.
