YG & SAWEETIE CONFIRM DATING RUMORS WITH PDA-FILLED MEXICAN BEYCATION

YG and Saweetie have confirmed rumors that they’re dating after being spotted packing on the PDA while on vacation in Mexico.

Photos surfaced on Tuesday (May 30) showing the West Coast rappers taking a romantic dip together in a swimming pool and enjoying each other’s company during their romantic get-away in Cabo San Lucas.

YG, rocking a black fitted cap and two gold chains, could be seen hugging and kissing Saweetie by the edge of the pool as the Icy Girl flaunted her figure in a pink bikini and rocked braids.

Rumors of a budding romance between the pair began swirling in April when they were spotted “getting cozy” at the same California restaurant while attending Coachella.

Saweetie was also one of several guests who attended YG’s 33rd birthday party in West Hollywood in March alongside the likes of Travis Scott, Offset, Mustard, Ty Dolla $ign and A$AP Ferg.

Prior to hooking up, the Compton and Sacramento natives connected musically on Mozzy’s 2022 song “In My Face,” which also featured 2 Chainz.

Neither rapper are strangers to seeing their love life splashed across the headlines. YG has previously dated actress Keke Palmer and fellow musician Kehlani, and has two children with his ex-girlfriend Catelyn Sparks, both daughters.

Saweetie, meanwhile, was in a high-profile relationship with Quavo between 2018 and 2021 until they called it quits over allegations that the Migos hitmaker cheated on her.

“I’m single,” Saweetie announced on Twitter in March 2021. “I’ve endured too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes for a false narrative to be circulating that degrades my character. Presents don’t band aid scars and the love isn’t real when the intimacy is given to other women.”

She added: “I emotionally checked out a long time ago and have walked away with a deep sense of peace and freedom. Excited for this new chapter of elevation.”

Shortly after, a video surfaced showing the former couple physically fighting in an elevator. However, Saweetie clarified that the “unfortunate incident happened a year ago” and they were able to “move past this particular disagreement” before their eventual split.

“There were simply too many other hurdles to overcome in our relationship and we have both since moved on,” she added.

Quavo denied physical abusing Saweetie, saying in a statement: “We had an unfortunate situation almost a year ago that we both learned and moved on from. I haven’t physically abused Saweetie and have real gratitude for what we did share overall.”
