Your type is rare – Annie hails 2Baba
Annie Idibia, wife of 2Baba has praised the musician for the unflinching support and care given her especially at the time she needed them most.
In a short post on Instagram, Annie described 2Baba as her ‘sunlight’.
She said: “Last few days were so horrible… Thank u so much for being my friend when I needed one the most! Thank u for staying up all those nights with me…your type is RARE! Thanks for being my SUNLIGHT! The only one who honestly truly understands me! My SUPPORT SYSTEM! #Appreciationpost #MyMine #myWorld.”
Annie met 2Baba in 1999 and started dating in 2002. Like any other relationship, she admits there were times they had differences during the courtship but the bond they shared took them to the altar.
She once mentioned that all the men she dated before meeting 2Baba were distractions.
Not long ago, rumors were rife that her marriage was in crisis after 2Baba tweeted, apologizing for messing up again.
“I’m sorry to say that I have fucked up so much. I have fucked up as a role model, as a father and as a husband. Annie, I’m sorry. I know you tried your best,” the tweet read.
But the musician later quashed the speculations.
“Let’s try 2 celebrate positive things more. Bad news 2 dey fly quick. Why good news no dey fly like this. No cause 4 alarm. Make we laff this one small. #onelove,” he stated.
