Britney Spears Accused Of Getting ‘Physical’ With Husband Sam Asghari Amid ‘Troubled Marriage’

Britney Spears’ marriage to Sam Asghari is in “deep trouble,” according to a trailer for an upcoming TV special that will investigate her life just one-and-a-half year after her conservatorship was lifted. On Monday, May 8, a trailer for “TMZ Investigates: Britney Spears: The Price of Freedom” was released, featuring explosive details of her life post-conservatorship.

“Britney Spears has had a year and a half of freedom since the conservatorship ended, but there are big problems,” narrator and TMZ Executive Producer Harvey Levin is heard saying at the beginning of the trailer, per New York Post.

TMZ’s managing editor Fabian Garcia then adds that Britney “got physical with Sam,” while Harvey claims her marriage is in “deep trouble.” TV doc Drew Pinsky is also seen in the trailer, chiming in, “I’m mortified.”

Despite her problematic personal life, the trailer highlights a silver lining in Britney’s career as it notes that there’s “hope” for her future through singing and that, performer-wise, she’s “probably still in the top five people.”

According to a press release, the upcoming TV special will explore “details about her deeply troubled marriage, family estrangement, alarming behavior, failed intervention and how she continues to be an enduring force in the music industry.” It also promises to “reveal concern among those closest to her that she’s a danger to herself and others.”

The hour-long special is set to premiere on Monday, May 15, at 9 P.M. ET on FOX. It will also be available on Hulu and Fox Entertainment’s streaming platform, Tubi.

Britney sparked rumors of marital issue in April as she ditched her wedding ring while vacationing with her manager Cade Hudson in Hawaii. Sam was also caught on camera without his own band while out and about solo. However, his rep claimed it had nothing to do with marital problems and the 29-year-old simply took off his ring as he was filming a movie.
