I have not retired from music – Kwaisey Pee refutes claims

The truth is, Kwaisey Pee started so well in our music industry, but the silky-voiced artiste is conspicuously missing in action for reasons best known to him – perhaps fate.

Kwaisey Pee has released several good songs not excluding his collaboration with J. Martins, Medikal, Et al. no attention has been given to him. Sadly, his landlord doesn’t even know he has released songs, recently.

Consequently, some music enthusiasts have concluded that Kwaisey Pee has stopped doing music and perhaps is now focusing on other projects to make money. But, Kwaisey Pee in chit-chat with Luv Fm’s DJ Reuben declared the public notion null and void.

According to Kwaisey Pee, he is still doing music, but he’s not the type of artiste who rides on controversies to sell unlike his peers and that has been his biggest challenge.

“I’m still doing music. I have a song with Medikal but I don’t engage myself in controversies reason why a lot has not been heard about me”, he stated.

Kwasi Poku Addae, better known by the stage name Kwaisey Pee, is a Ghanaian highlife musician. He is mostly known for his soothing voice and has five albums to his credit. In 2007, he won the Best Male Vocal Performance of the Ghana Music Awards.
