Head Coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Kim Grant has said he “hopes to stay” with the club for a longer period, in order to supervise the success of the project he has started.

Coach Grant said there had been a lot of positive changes at the club, since he took charge and that he was hopeful of great results in the future.

The 46-year-old guided Hearts of Oak to the semifinal of the Normalisation Committee (NC) Special Competition, where they were knocked out on penalties by arch-rivals Asante Kotoko, after a 1-1 draw within regulation time.

Defender Mohammed Alhassan, having recently returned from the Black Stars camp missed his penalty to give Kotoko a 5-4 win.

Coach Grant in a post-match interview commended his players for showing “character” to come back into the game following an early lead by their visitors.

He said the team was “growing game by game” and was happy for the work done within his short stay at the club.
