Kim Kardashian Files to Be Declared Legally Single in Divorce from Kanye

According to documents obtained by TMZ, Kim Kardashian has filed to become legally single amid her ongoing divorce from Kanye West.

The request was filed on Friday (December 10), by Kim’s lawyer, Laura Wasser, asking a judge to drop “West” from her name, as well as separating her marital status from child custody and property. This will allow Kim to be legally single while also being able to sort out custody and property matters with Kanye in the future.

This comes after Kanye made another public plea to get Kim back during his Free Larry Hoover benefit concert alongside Drake on Thursday. While performing “Runaway,” Kanye could be heard saying, “I need you to run right back to me, baby, more specifically, Kimberly.” Kim was in attendance at the concert alongside her sister Kendall Jenner and mom Kris Jenner.
