Say what you want about Lil Pump flippant disregard of anything sacred, everyone deserves a little respite care while at their lowest point. Hours ago, Lil Pump jumped on Instagram to post a series of harrowing messages on his Storyboard, two, in particular, are worth delving into, if only to further the conversation on mental health, very much underrepresented within the milieu of hip-hop.

Wow someone help pump please

Curiously enough, Lil Pump two harrowing messages drew a direct parallel to the quarter million he spent on jewelry this week – because, in my time, I’ve seen many a person bury themselves in material goods to compensate for an emotional void. In the case of Lil Pump, there’s no way of knowing if that correlation exists.

Sadly, in this age of oversharing, signals of distress like the one’s Pump just posted, have become “normal” to the point of uncertainty. As you’ll see in the above IG roundup posted by Akademiks, Pump insinuated that he felt his death was imminent, after which he wasn’t “feelin good rn idk if I wanna keep doing any of dis.” Short of knowing what’s going behind closed doors, I can honestly say, I do hope Lil Pump finds the respite care he deserves right now, by the power vested in his well-being.
