It looks like Meek Mill is switching up his lyrics out of respect for his homie Trey Songz. On the Drake-assisted song “Going Bad,” the MMG rapper spits about wanting to bag Lori Harvey (Trey Songz’ girl) in a particular line. “I got Lori Harvey on my wish list (That’s Lori)/ That’s the only thing I want for Christmas (True story, uh),” Meek spits on the song.

Well it appears Meek is no longer trying to have Lori on his wishlist. TheShadeRoom obtained footage of Meek switching up his lyrics in the club recently and taking Lori off his wishlist out of respect for her boyfriend & his homie Trey Songz.

“I took Lori Harvey off my wishlist/ Thats what Trigga Trey wanted for Christmas,” Meek raps live in the club.

After the clip made its way online, fans were supportive of Meek’s new lyrics and praised him for being a real one. In fact, Meek decided to respond to a particular tweet from a fan, to which he said Trey was his guy and he couldn’t be reckless like that.

“Thats my dawg I take her off sometimes Trey my guy I cant just be reckless ya know she’s fire!” Meek tweeted out.

Check out Meek’s response (below) and let us know your thoughts on the lyric change.
