Mercy Johnson reaches 5 million followers on Instagram

Mercy Johnson is on cloud nine. Not just because of the way her career is shaping, but also because of the way her popularity is growing.

The actress has amassed 5 million followers on Instagram, making her the 3rd most followed Nollywood star on the photo-sharing network.

On April 29, the mother-of-twins could not hide her excitement as she took to her page to express gratitude to her fans for contributing to the new milestone.

“Thankful for you! 5 million of you! I absolutely love everyone of you.” she said.

The feat places the Nollywood star close to her fellow colleagues Funke Akindele-Bello who occupies the top spot with 7.4 million followers.

Genevieve Nnaji who comfortably occupies the number 2 spot with a follower count of 5.4 million.
