Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale shouldn’t return the awards – Edem
Ghana Music Awards Board ordered Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy to return all awards they won at the recently held Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) following the fracas.
According to the ‘Heyba’ hitmaker, the sanction the Ghana Music Awards board meted on the two Reggae/Dancehall artistes were too harsh. He also said that no specifics that stated that if any artiste/winner puts the scheme in disrepute the awards be seized.
He said;
“Charter House only came with harsh conditions to punish Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale. Because if you are telling me to bring the awards won back (which were voted for/invested in by my fans), what are you also giving me back in return for the damages or incidents that happened on the night,”
“I am not saying what happened on the night was right; it’s not right,” Edem concluded
