Taylor Swift Gifts Brittany Mahomes ‘1989’ (Taylor’s Version) and Limited Edition Cardigan

Brittany Mahomes is sharing the special gifts she receives from Taylor Swift!

Mahomes — who is the wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, 28, — shared a photo on Friday of a sweet gesture from her new friend Swift — a copy of the singer’s newly-released album 1989 (Taylor’s Version) and a limited edition 1989 cardigan amid.

In the Instagram Story snap, captioned “#Taylor’s version”, Swift’s album and the light blue knit cardigan were laid out on a table.

To make the cute gift even more special, the “Look What You Made Me Do” singer had even included a handwritten note.

“Oh hi! As I re-release and reclaim my beloved 1989 album, I wanted to send you…,” the note read.

Swift’s treat for Brittany came as the singer launched the limited edition cardigan in honor of Friday’s release of 1989 (Taylor’s Version) on Friday, the rerecorded version of her beloved 2014 album.
The design of the knitwear was inspired by the album cover art as it features seagulls embroidered on the back and “1989” on its front. Swifties can now purchase the cardigan themselves on the singer’s website for $69.89 up until Monday.

Brittany’s friendship with Swift has continued to blossom since the singer began spending time with Travis Kelce last month.

Last Sunday, Swift and Mahomes were spotted hanging out together as they watched the the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Los Angeles Chargers from the Mahomes’ suite — and even shared a special handshake during the game — in a video posted by the NFL.

The pair celebrated Patrick and Kelce’s winning streak during the game with the gesture, which began with the pair slapping their hands together five times, before they grasped each other’s hands, and bumped their hips together.

Swift wore a red Chief’s sweater in support of Kelce, 34, as she laughed and danced with Brittany, who had her 11-month-old son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III on her hip, while they both cheered on the Chiefs at the game.

Swift first publicly linked up with Brittany at dinner a week after she was seen for the first time cheering on Kelce while attending the Chiefs game against the Chicago Bears on Sept. 24.

The new friends were joined at the dinner by Swift’s pals Sophie Turner and Blake Lively. The next day, they were all seen together with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in a suite as they watched the Chiefs win against the New York Jets in New Jersey.

Swift then hung out with Brittany again at Arrowhead Stadium, along with Kelce’s parents, Donna and Ed Kelce, as they cheered on the Chiefs during their game against the Denver Broncos on Oct. 13.
