Yung Miami has caught wind of online chatters involving herself and NBA player Jimmy Butler. The one half of City Girls takes to her Twitter account to respond to fans claiming that the Miami Heat star is trying to shoot his shot with her.

In a viral clip that circulated online, Miami could be seen sitting courtside when she attended a Heat vs Celtics game on Sunday, May 21. At one point, Jimmy walked toward the raptress’ seat as he tried to help a referee who fell near the musician.

The athlete appeared to say something as he approached Miami. Upon watching the clip, some Internet users were convinced that he struck up a conversation with the “Ex for a Reason” rhymer, who flashed smile in the video.

“@YungMiami305 I SEE YOU AT THE HEAT GAME TRYNA F**K JIMMY BUTLER,” one person wrote on Twitter. Miami coyly replied to the tweet, “Who said that?” In a separate tweet, Miami left a series of laughing emojis when another fan asked, “What Jimmy said?”

Miami’s groupmate JT also chimed in. Quote-retweeting one of Miami’s posts, JT tweeted, “I screamed,” before adding several laughing emojis.

Fans, meanwhile, were amused by the whole thing. Mentioning Miami’s ex Sean “P. Diddy” Combs, one fan wrote in an Instagram comment, “Diddy gone get to him before she do.” Another fan added, “She bout to get Diddy bopped in the head if she don’t quit bein friendly lol.”

Meanwhile, someone trolled, “Diddy finna cut the allowance.” One other joked, “She’s about to have him on caresha please….so Jimmy…tell me whatchewwww was thinking when you saw me on the sidelines.

Some others, on the other hand, thought that people were reaching with the narrative. “He was literally talking to the ref about a missed call …,” one person noted. Similarly, someone else said, “Bro was just talking to the ref smh…” Another user questioned, “What made folks come up with this assumption.”

As for Miami and Diddy, the pair didn’t seem to be completely over although she recently confirmed their breakup. Earlier this month, the two rap stars were photographed hanging out together again after sparking questions about their relationship status when attending the 2023 Met Gala.

On Wednesday, May 3, Miami posted on her Instagram page photos of her stepping out with her on-and-off boo in New York. The pair were seen strutting their stuff on the street before stopping by what looks like a bar. “Thuggin with my round!” Miami captioned the snaps, adding a single black heart emoji.

The outing arrived just days after Miami and Diddy addressed their relationship while attending the Met Gala on May 1 together. When host La La Anthony asked, “Do y’all officially go together real bad?”

Diddy initially tried to deflect the question, but the 53-year-old finally said, “We definitely go together real bad!” He then clarified, “She’s my date for the night. … We don’t put titles on it. Everybody wants us to put a title on it, we don’t put titles.”

“This like my best friend in the world, one of the most beautiful people God has blessed me with. And I’m blessed that she’s my date tonight,” the Bad Boy Records founder said of Miami, who agreed as saying, “Yeah, it’s just a good date night.”
