A$AP Rocky Sparks Rihanna Marriage Rumors With New Song ‘RIOT (Rowdy Pipe’n)’

A$AP Rocky might have secretly tied the knot with Rihanna. The A$AP Mob member hinted at marriage to the Fenty founder with lyrics on his newly-released song, “RIOT (Rowdy Pipe’n)”.

On the track, which arrived on Thursday, July 20, the 34-year-old raps, “My wife is erotic, I’m smokin’ exotic.” In the chorus, meanwhile, the emcee spits, “We grow, we learn and we live/ I might start a riot.”

This is not the first time Rocky, who is currently expecting his second child with Rihanna, called the Barbadian star his “wife.” When performing at the 2023 Cannes Lions Festival in June, he dedicated his song “Sundress” to the pregnant singer and shouted, “I’d like to dedicate this song to my beautiful wife in the motherf**king building! I love her.”

The “Take a Bow” songstress seemed to have enjoyed the “Fashion Killa” rapper’s late-night gig at the time as she was seen smiling throughout the show. Once her beau wrapped up his performance, the two were spotted hanging out together with their pals in the VIP area.

While it remains unclear whether they have legalized their union, Rocky and Rihanna are seemingly open to the idea of marriage. In fact, the couple got married in a music video for his single “D.M.B.”.

Romance aside, Rocky previously previewed “RIOT (Rowdy Pipe’n)” during his “Amazon Music Live” performance in December 2022. At that time, he also performed “Same Problems?”, which he dropped in January of this year.

Both tracks are expected to appear on Rocky’s upcoming album. He previously announced that the project is titled “Don’t Be Dumb” and will feature guest appearances from the likes of Miguel, Tyler, the Creator, Lil Yachty and Thundercat.
