‘This is madness’ – Minister says as he orders the arrest of Turkish developers who blocked a major road

Ghana’s Roads and Highways Minister, Honorable Kwasi Amoako Atta ordered the arrest of some Turkish developers who blocked a major road around Airport Residential for their selfish gains.

The contractors according to a report filed by UTV Ghana, blocked the road just to aid them to build a 22 storey building for themselves.

When he stormed the venue, he said what the Contractor and his entourage are doing is completely stupid and full of madness.

Honorable Kwasi Amoako Atta added that a Ghanaian cannot do a similar thing in Turkey and so can’t fathom why the Turkish took the laws in Ghana for granted.

He further said the President of Ghana cannot do such a thing before finally ordering the building to be demolished.

Honorable Kwasi Amoako ordered the Police to arrest the contractors and all those working at the site.
